In January 2024, British American Tobacco launched glo Hyper Pro, the most advanced heated-tobacco device in its glo portfolio to date. It features HeatBoost™ technology for richer taste, an EasyView™ display screen, 90-minute charging, and up to 20 sessions per charge. The device has been launched in Japan, Italy and Poland, with further global market roll outs planned during 2024.
Kingsley Wheaton, BAT’s Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, noted that over 8.8 million consumers already use glo and that Hyper Pro offers a significantly improved experience to encourage adult smokers to switch.
